Bio - statistics

The Biostatistics area of the Instituto de Càlculo adapts statistical tools to solve problems that arise from the direct application of some standard procedures. In addition, new specific statistical procedures are developed to respond to specific questions raised from the biological and/or health field.

 The research tasks in our area are motivated by the interdisciplinary work of IC researchers together with researchers in biological or health sciences. This interdisciplinary work drives research, giving it a profoundly realistic meaning.
